It was actually my second time traveling to Banff National Park. The first time was around 5 years ago and I went with the tour agent by bus. Since the schedule and route are set by the agent, we only went to a bunch places that were know by most people, but there are actually quite a lot of great spots been missed. I really wanted to go there again but I would never drive there by myself since I am not really a big fan of long-time driving, but Arthur is the opposite, last summer he asked me if I want to go on a road trip to Yellow Stone with him, but I was too busy working so we didn’t make it. He suggest we should drive to Banff as soon as I told him that I was having a whole week of vacation. Even most of people go to Banff in summer, mid of spring is actually the season that you can enjoy most of the activities of the year yet it is not too cold. So, we packed, and after 10 hours of none stop driving, finally we are here!
I bet most of you haven't seen the whole lake been frozen, haven't been so close to the deers and mountain goats, haven't even seen so much mountain covered by snow yet it was so warm that I can actually wear summery outfit during the day, all of it was my first time too! One thing that I want to mention is the Japanese food here is quite expensive compare to Vancouver, I guess it was because the city is hiding in the mountains so it take s lot more transportation for the sea food to arrive other than us living next to the oceans and rivers, but we were surprised that the restaurants are actually owned by Japanese people while in Vancouver there are so many Chinese, Cantonese and Korean Japanese food.
Be expected for more and more pictures! (Photo by Arthur Wang)
